Our story

In the winter of 2021, we met at a small café in the village, and during that meeting, we made two significant decisions. The first was that we wanted to bring about social and cultural change in the village, and the second was that this change must come from us. In the second meeting, more people joined, and after a fascinating discussion, it was decided to lay down five cornerstones that would serve as our guiding principles. They are:

1. Changing social perception – contributing to the community
2. Personal security for residents
3. Strengthening the local economy
4. Improving the education level in the village
5. Ensuring housing security

Within a few days, we were amazed to discover that hundreds of people joined us, each promoting and working for the community. We decided to establish a non-profit organization that would serve as a unified umbrella for all the residents, regardless of religion or gender. The organization "Together We Lead" is a non-profit that aims to reduce social, educational, and socio-economic disparities in society at large, and specifically in the village of Isfiya, by improving social life and emphasizing social cohesion based on the five cornerstones mentioned above.

In the past year, the organization initiated several events offered to the public for free, including:

1. An "Introduction to Programming" course – with around 28 young residents registered.
2. Team 10 – the "Storm" course in collaboration with the Home Front Command and the local council. The team underwent training in rescue and assistance during mass casualty events.
3. "Ossfiya Games" – a mini-football tournament for teams and players from the village.
4. A first aid responder course (MADA)
5. Donations to families in need, and more…

Recently, we received requests to step out from behind the scenes and act more openly to raise awareness and increase exposure to the organization's activities. So from today, you can stay updated, suggest ideas, and join us through the media as well.

Together, we will lead towards a new spirit!

Yahad Novil organization aims to create a diverse and just society, where every person can live in safety and dignity. We focus on five cornerstones that guide our work:

1. Education and Leisure: We recognize the importance of education and leisure as tools for personal and social development. By providing knowledge, skills, and culture through leisure organizations and educational activities, we aim to help individuals grow, develop, and enjoy integrated and fulfilling lives.

2. Personal Security for Residents: By ensuring housing in a safe and social environment, we can create a sense of security and peace for the residents. We aspire to establish *a rescue and relief unit, a medical network, a civilian guard, and local policing managed by the residents themselves*.

3. Housing Security: We believe every person deserves a stable living environment that aligns with their values and traditions. Through the development of infrastructure, planning, and construction that suits the rural lifestyle, and in collaboration with local authorities and other organizations, we strive to help people find housing solutions that meet their needs. Our goal is to acquire land and repurpose it for agriculture, construction, and entrepreneurship.

4. Changing Social Perception and Community Contribution: We encourage and strengthen a shift in social perception and new ways of contributing to the community while preserving and enhancing traditional values. By creating thought-provoking and inspiring educational and leisure programs, we help people develop and actively contribute to the community.

5. Economic Independence: We believe that economic independence is a key value and serves as a driving force for improving quality of life and the success of the community. Our goal is to support entrepreneurs and small businesses, promote young entrepreneurship, innovation, and technological development through training and mentoring programs, and create a unified economic and commercial platform.
