Values that serve as the cornerstones and guiding principles for us
Core Values that Serve as Our Cornerstones and Guiding Principles:
★ Respect for Individuals:
The "Together We Lead" Association and its volunteers are committed to upholding human dignity. Every person has inherent value regardless of origin, religion, nationality, gender, status, or position.
★ Responsibility:
A rescuer/volunteer will be committed to the values of the rule of law and act in accordance with the association’s mission and principles. The rescuer/volunteer will perform their role with a broad sense of responsibility and deep understanding, as they are working to save lives and maintain the village's and the association's reputation. They will demonstrate initiative and determination, actively engage in all required tasks, and exercise judgment and accountability for their decisions and actions.
★ Professionalism:
The rescuer/volunteer will strive to acquire the necessary professional knowledge and skills for their role and apply them while continually seeking to improve both individual and team achievements.
★ Self-Discipline:
The rescuer/volunteer will act to the best of their ability to fulfill their duties successfully according to guidelines and procedures, adhering strictly to legal instructions and avoiding compliance with unlawful directives.
★ Integrity:
The rescuer/volunteer will present matters accurately, both in planning and execution, and will provide truthful, complete, and precise reports. They will ensure that their team members, supervisors, and the association’s board can rely on them to complete tasks effectively.
★ Leading by Example:
The rescuer/volunteer will act according to expectations and uphold the standards they require from others. They will demonstrate social and ethical leadership, recognizing their ability and responsibility within and outside the "Together We Lead" Association. The rescuer/volunteer will maintain a professional approach, avoid personal biases, and misuse of authority, setting a worthy example.
★ Public Spirit:
The rescuer/volunteer will demonstrate loyalty to the foundational values of the State of Israel as a democratic state. They will act in a public-spirited manner as a representative of the "Together We Lead" Association, which has social goals. For example:
– If a volunteer sees an elderly person needing help crossing the street, they should stop and assist.
– If they identify a resident of the village in need of help, they should offer assistance.
– If they notice litter on the road, they should clean it up as they represent the entire village and the association.
The volunteer will act with commitment to the association, showing alignment with its goals, objectives, and values according to internal norms and arrangements.
A volunteer, as a supreme value, is someone who voluntarily performs good deeds and contributes to the community selflessly. They add value to the lives of others and to society as a whole. The volunteer shows concern for others and their needs, and is willing to dedicate their time, reputation, and skills to help others advance, improve, and succeed. A volunteer is a supreme value because they positively impact society, elevate human standards, and provide a sense of satisfaction and joy to themselves and those around them. With the help of volunteers, we can create a better world and enhance the goodness in it.
